As “The Great Race Place” moves into the mid stages of July a huge night of racing will take place on Friday night, July 14. The “Summer Showdown” will feature 50-lap races for the Modified, Sportsman and Pro Stock divisions.

Sowle Trailer Repair will put extra money on the line with $4,000 going to the Modified feature winner, $3,000 for the Sportsman feature winner and $2,000 for the Pro Stock feature winner. The Limited Sportsman and Street Stocks will fill out the evening.

A makeup 35-lap Modified feature from the June 23 rain out originally scheduled for July 14 will be rescheduled until July 21.

All divisions, excluding the 4-Cylinders, will be in action on Friday night. With recent rain outs jumbling the schedule, the makeup feature dates for the Limited Sportsman, Sportsman, Modified and Pro Stocks are yet to be determined.

Pit gates will open at 4 p.m. Front gates will open at 5 p.m. Admission for this Friday’s triple 50’s is $15 for adults and $2 for children 11 and under.
