Albany-Saratoga Speedway is a 4/10 mile stock car track which holds dirt racing events weekly on Friday nights from April to September. Currently we feature five different weekly racing divisions, which include DIRTcar Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, Pro Stocks and Street Stocks. Four cylinder racers also make regular appearances. Each season brings numerous special events, and traveling racing series (sprint cars, vintage modifieds, classic car shows) fill out the schedule.
Known as “The Great Race Place,” the speedway has a long and storied history in the capital region of New York. Located in Malta (between Albany and Saratoga) on Route 9, it has been hosting local grassroots racing continuously since 1965.
The speedway is owned and operated by LVAR (Lebanon Valley Auto Racing). Dirt racing fans should also visit our sister track, Lebanon Valley Speedway, with events on Saturday night, located south of us in West Lebanon, NY.
