On the schedule this week (Friday August 3rd) is the A.I.M. Warrior Dash….  where the modifieds will compete in one-on-one races for $1,000 to win and $500 to the runner-up! Participating cars will be the top five in modified points and the three heat winners.  If any one of the heat winners are in the top five in points, we will move to the next finisher in the heat until we have eight modifieds.  After drawing for a starting spot, each racer will be paired up in one-on-one matches, winner advances, winner then gets choice of high side or low side in the next race.  The really interesting part is that the race starts when the caution light goes out on the track — meaning the race can start anywhere on the track! The dashes will be one-lap single elimination races, with a two-lap final dash for the cash.
