As part of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, competitors will be able to purchase NASCAR licenses at our track and through the mail. Legends competitors will be able to purchase INEX licenses online (see the Legends page for more info).

You will no longer need a CVRA license.

NASCAR license pricing is as follows:

DIV I (NASCAR Modified Driver Only): $185

DIV II-III-IV (Pro Late Model, Renegade, Bomber Warrior Driver Only): $90

CREW Members (All Divisions): $90

Drivers MUST be licensed by NASCAR or INEX. Everyone else coming in the pits has the choice of whether or not to purchase a license through NASCAR. If you choose not to purchase a license, you will pay a non-member pit fee just as in past years.

A driver is allowed to race up to three times per year without a membership. For example if your home track is not open yet (or already closed) and you want to race with us, you can. Or if you want to come and try the track before purchasing a license. Every car must fill out a Car Registration Form before going on the track. You can download one on the “forms” page or get one at the race track. After three appearances at the track in the same season, the driver will be required to be licensed (NASCAR or INEX).

The minimum age for a NASCAR Learner’s Permit is now 14. Read the NASCAR Technical Bulletin issued on 2/15/11.

The NASCAR form is not available online the first time you become a member. You can call 802-265-4613 or email racing@cvra.com with your address, and we will send you one. You can send it to us or to NASCAR with your money/credit card (No Discover Card) information.

NOTE: Every car owner will be required to fill out a CVRA Car Registration Form. There is no charge for this, however, you will not be allowed on the track unless it is filed. Get your form in as soon as possible so you have the best chance of reserving your first choice car number! You can download the form here and send it in to us to reserve your car number.
