6/18/14 Weekly Recap
After a one week interruption by Mother Nature, the Albany-Saratoga Speedway will return to action Friday night. The Upstate GMC Dealers DIRTcar Modifieds, Sportsman, DIRTcar Pro Stocks, Limited Sportsman, Don Don’s Delights Street Stocks and Greg’s Towing and Repair Four Cylinder divisions will all be in action.
The Sportsman division will compete in the second leg of the Featherfoot Warrior Series. This week’s event will pay the winner $1,000 and bring them that much closer to the series title.
In the series opener on April 25th young second generation driver Joey Scarborough won his first career feature event at the four tenths of a mile oval. Cody Bleau would finish second in the Greg’s Towing and Repair number 173 with Jeremy Pitts, Jack Gentile and Robert Bublak completing the top five.
