2016 Season Set to Begin
Malta, NY – The Albany-Saratoga Speedway will open its doors for the first time in the 2016 season on Sunday afternoon with the annual practice session. The day will begin with gates opening at 9 am for inspection with on track practice sessions taking place from 3 pm to 7 pm. Admission to the grandstands is free while pit passes are $15 per person. The concession stands will also be open. Practice is open to all divisions.
One year ago more than 110 drivers went through technical inspection and took part in the numerous practice sessions held throughout the afternoon. An impressive crowd passed through the gates to get their first glimpse of on track action.
The 2016 season is set to kick off on Friday night April 22nd with all divisions in action, including the Greg’s Towing and Repair Four Cylinders. The DIRTcar Modified division will compete for a $3,000 top prize.
